White Sage Smudge sticks are used to cleanse places before meditaion and spiritual prayer.
They remove negative energy and purify the environment.
 
Method:
 
Light your sage stick and fan or blow the smoke.
 
Allow the smudge stick to smolder in the selected room as you fan the swirls of smoke around the room and your body. Make sure to catch the ash in a bowl. 
 
Place un-used sage into sand to extinguish the fire for later use.
